TEHRAN – Iran’s men’s goalball team lost to 2020 Paralympics gold medalist Brazil 16-9 at the 2024 Nations Cup on Friday.

Team Melli will meet Sweden and Montenegro on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

Iran have secured quota for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games after winning a gold medal of the IBSA Asia-Pacific Goalball Championships held in Hangzhou, China in November.

Goalball Nations Cup 2024 is being held in Berlin, Germany from March 14 to 17.
